Brooklyn-based brand Art and Cook design, create and retail innovative food and lifestyle appliances to elevate the cooking experience. Their unique product catalogue ranges from spatulas and skillets to cutlery and cake pans.
With an existing site geared towards B2B selling, and an ambition to bring their revolutionary kitchenware direct to consumers for the first time, they enlisted Swanky to build them a new store on the Shopify Plus platform.
The site launched in November 2021 (on Black Friday no less!), complete with a newly-developed subscription membership program in which users receive a part-curated, part-personalised subscription box on a quarterly basis, as well as other benefits including discounts across the site.
A new dawn for an ambitious brand
This was a build from scratch utilising Shopify’s new storefront ‘Online Store 2.0’, with the Dawn theme as a base – which means the site is ultra-lightweight, flexible and intuitive, all whilst allowing for powerful brand expression through visual storytelling.
The store reflects Founder Allan Ben’s motivation to celebrate the artistry of the cooking experience, and, much like the collection of swanky kitchen tools it showcases, is a beautiful marriage of form and function, style and quality, innovation and inspiration.
