ECOMMERCE INTERNATIONALISATION

Designing a holistic B2B Shopify site for Nelsons

Swanky was tasked with creating a new B2B ‘showcase site’ to serve multiple markets including the UK, US, Spain, France, and Germany, with plans to expand into Italy and Switzerland. The site needed to effectively present Nelsons’ diverse brand portfolio to potential stockists, whilst maintaining distinct brand identities within a cohesive framework.

To achieve this we:

  • Created a unified design system with a consistent font across all brands, whilst allowing for brand-specific elements like logos, colours and navigation in the header and footer.
  • Built a custom header and navigation system that dynamically adapts based on both brand and market, ensuring appropriate content is shown for each region’s product offerings.
  • Integrated functionality such as Shopify Search & Discovery, Translate & Adapt for localisation, and Octane AI for an interactive product recommendation quiz.
