When Saltrock first came to us, they were looking for a more adaptive, intuitive and flexible website that would enable them to test out new functionality quickly and easily. They were struggling with the fact that, while operating their website on a different platform, every small change they requested became an expensive and time-consuming process, with each tweak they attempted to make taking too long to be actualized on-site.
Saltrock simply wanted to be able to customise their website more easily, measure their performance, run optimisation tests, and implement new features without the need for custom-made solutions for every update.
So when they heard about Shopify Plus, with its app market, user-friendly interface and customisation options, Saltrock’s interest was piqued. In the hope of providing a more personal experience to customers, to help boost overall conversion rate, they agreed to make the switch to Shopify Plus.
As Shopify Plus Experts, we worked closely with Saltrock to completely remodel their original site to look and work better, matching the feel and style of the brand. We approached this design project from a CRO (conversion rate optimisation) perspective, focussing primarily on some keys to ecommerce success: usability, responsiveness and aesthetic appeal. The result was an attractive website that was easy to navigate and worked seamlessly on every device.

In the weeks following Saltrock’s new website launch, they had retained a stable stream of existing customer traffic and revenue, which Ecommerce Director Jon Dunn sees as “proof that our new website is very strong from a Conversion and UXD perspective”.
Saltrock are now excited to continue building their ecommerce success, focusing on digital transformation for the brand. With a new and compelling website in place, they have ambitious growth plans to increase their ecommerce revenue.
