The US Army run community sites for all of their garrisons in Europe. These sites are the troops’ gateway to information about what’s going on in the local area and where to go while they are stationed there. The MWR community sites network is built on a single Concrete 5 instance and handles thousands of visits each day. The network is managed by a dedicated staff team spread across Europe. The coordinating office for the European network of sites contacted us, as Concrete 5 experts, to expand their monthly maintenance, development and support network while they undertook a total redevelopment. Over the course of 6 months, Swanky provided a raft of bug fixes and new feature development, including providing complex database administration and optimisation in preparation for the network update.
